Miss Kathy McCrohon Owner, Director, Teacher, Choreographer
Miss Kathy, the Dance Center Founder, started dancing at the age of four. At age ten, she performed in the Boston Ballet's production of the Nutcracker . She was the first recipient of the Worcester Ballet Society scholarship and won the title of Miss Talent America, #1 in Jazz. After fourteen years of competitive dance she was awarded a scholarship to the Dance Department of Skidmore College where she pursued an education major with a concentration in Dance and attained her New York State Teachers Certification. After completion of college, Miss Kathy toured the Western States dancing with a Ballet Company based in Salt Lake City, Utah. She continues to advance her dance study in New York City, Boston and Connecticut. Miss Kathy has been teaching in the metropolitan Boston area for 24 years. She has choreographed for the Worcester County Light Opera, The Wellesley Players, and other local area theater groups. Miss Kathy is also an active parent volunteer in the Public School System orchestrating hundreds of students for their annual Field Day Dance Performance.
 
Ralph Anthony Hip Hop Teacher
A New York City native, Ralph has been performing consistently for over 15 years. He started his career singing and playing bass guitar in local music groups throughout the city. In the late 90's he was signed to Ariola Records as a solo artist and released several hit singles on the Latin music scene. As a dancer, he worked for MTV's Club MTV and The Grind. He is currently a top Bar Mitzvah/Wedding MC in New England.
 
Michael T.Bates Owner Bates Entertainment
Michael has been studying Dance, Gymnastics and Entertainment for 18 Years. Michael started his career in dance at 12 years old when he became a principal in a Boston dance studio performance. From 15 years old to 18 years old, Michael traveled around the country with recording artists like New Kids on the Block, Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch, Cover Girls and many more! He now lives in Windham, NH and is very excited about passing his talents to his new students at the Kathy McCrohon Dance Center. He is also Co-Founder of The Phunk Shoppe with Joseph Carrier, which opened in September 2006.
 
Miss Jessica Bennet Hip Hop, Tap, Competition Teacher
Miss Jessica M.S. has an extensive dance background in Jazz, Tap, Street-Funk, and Hip-Hop dance.  In Boston, Jessica professionally dances with Boston Tap Company, credits include Rhythm in the Night, and Beantown Tap Festival.  She is dance director for Knuckle Bones and runs dance birthday parties, and dances as a dance motivator for Bar and Bat Mitzvah’s and is also a certified group fitness instructor through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AAFA).  Jessica co-founded and was President of the University of Connecticut Tap Team and led her team to the receipt of multiple first place awards and titles.  In Connecticut, Jessica was a member of Stoptime Dance Theater from 2003-2006.  She is currently a School Psychology Graduate Student at Northeastern University. 
 
Miss Caroline Cohn Ballet Teacher
Miss Caroline has danced for eight years with the State Ballet of Rhode Island, artistic director Herci Marsden, two years as a Principal dancer.  She received a B.F.A in Dance from University of Massachusetts, Amherst where she was a recipient of the Chancellor’s Talent Award. Caroline taught ballet and performed for the Five College Dance Department and the Pioneer Valley Ballet.  Most recently Caroline performed soloist roles in BalletRox’s production of the Urban Nutcracker.  Other favorite roles include ‘Queen Myrtha’ in Giselle, ‘Dew Drop’ from The Nutcracker, and as a soloist in George Balanchine’s Concerto Barroco.
 
Miss Jaclyn Demianiuk Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Competition Teacher
Miss Jaclyn recieved her BA in Dance from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Currently, she is the Artistic Director of the Melrose Youth Ballet. She has performed and competed all over New England in workshops, recitals and competitions. She has also choreographed for Alive With Dance, and the Emerging Choreographer's Series at UMass.
 
Miss Tiffany DeWitt Receptionist, Tumbling, Theatre Teacher
Miss Tiffany is currently going to school at UMASS Lowell for Business.  Over the past year Tiffany has been doing extra work, and has been in two movies, and a TV show.  Also, Tiffany attended John Robert Powers Modeling & Acting School.
 
Miss “Meg” Maeghan Flynn Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Jazz
Maeghan began her dance training at the age of 3 in Lewiston/Auburn with Elizabeth Hansen.  She later attended the Maine State Ballet of Performing Arts, and ultimately began serious training with the Portland Ballet Company under the instruction and guidance of Daielma Decker and Artistic Director Eugenia O’Brien.  She went on to study at Point Park University’s dance conservatory, in Pittsburgh, PA  where she received her BA in Dance.  She studied extensively in Ballet, Modern (Graham), Contemporary, and Jazz, as well as in choreography, improvisation, kinesiology, and psychology.  She has worked with such artists as Edgar Zendejas, Bill T. Jones company members, Doug Bentz, Keisha Lalama-White, Ron Tassone, Dana Arey, Jason McDole, and numerous other artists.  She also has shown her work in a number of collaborative demonstrations and set her most recent work “Boxed?” in Bridgeworks at Point Park University.  She is currently dancing professionally with the Bosoma Dance Company in Boston, MA.
 
Miss Jaime Gaudet Office Manager, Hip Hop, Tumbling, Conditioning Teacher
Miss Jaime graduated from Babson College in 2008, where she was Founder and President of the College's first Hip Hop Dance Team, The Hypnotik Dance Crew. Currently, she is the Head Coach of the Newton South High School Varsity Dance Team.  In recent years, Jaime has back-up danced and choreographed for recording artist Renee Marcou, performing in cities across the northeast, as well as appearing in her music video for the song "Don't Let Go".  In the past, Jaime served as the Dance Coordinator at the Waltham Boys & Girls Club, taught dance at the McDevitt Middle School Mall Mania Program in Waltham, was a Master Teacher at the A+ Dance Camp, as well as has choreographed for her former high school team, the Weston High Dance Team. She has also participated as a judge for local cheer and dance competitions and is currently in Graduate School for her MA in History.
 
Miss Jolie Helmbrecht Modern Teacher
Miss Jolie received MFA in performance and choreography from New York University Tisch School of the Arts and her BA from the University of Maryland. Jolie founded Bolder Moves , a dance, yoga and body wellness center in Boulder, CO, where she was Executive Director and has co-founded two modern dance companies, DanceBox Theatre and The Bolder Moves Dance Theatre Company . She has taught, danced and choreographed for the past 13 years throughout the Boston, Washington D.C., Colorado and New York areas.
 
Miss Jessica Miller Ballet, Tap, Jazz Teacher
Miss Jessica graduated with her BA in Communication from the State University of New York College at Oswego where she was the Vice President and choreographer of Del Sarte Dance Club.  She has studied dance extensively for over 20 years and has both performed and competed nationally, including television commercials and the Orange Bowl Parade.  Jessica recently graduated with her MA in Corporate Communication from Emerson College.
 
Miss Aly Pereira Hip Hop, Tap, Theatre Teacher
Miss Aly has been dancing for 23 years and teaching for 8 years. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Roger Williams University in 2005 with a BA in Theatre. She has studied with the Boston Conservatory, Sean Curran, Crazy Legs & Savion Glover. In the past, she was a member of Off the Curb Hip Hop Performance Troupe in Newport, RI.  Currently, she is a member of Phunk Phenomenon performance crew. She has worked on such movies as The Pink Panther 2, Mall Cop & Zookeeper.  She has travelled all over the world performing for thousands of people and hundreds of audiences including openings for 50 Cent, 112, Busta Rhymes, U.S. Tennis Open, Britney Spears Camp and many more.
 
Miss Jai Underhill Tap Teacher
Miss Jai studied the "Leon Collins" style of jazz tap with Judythe Lokich, the Slyde Brothers style with the late Jimmy "Sir Slyde" Mitchell, and Broadway and jazz tap with the late Sue Ronson. She performed at Tap Jams with Jimmy Mitchell, the Strands Theater in Dorchester and has soloed at the Windsor School in Boston and Spontaneous Celebrations in Jamaica Plain.
