Auditions will be held on
Saturday, September 11, 2010
Grades K - 1st 3:00 - 3:30 pm
Grades 2 - 5 3:30 - 4:00 pm
Grades 6 - 8 4:00 - 5:00 pm
Grades 9 - 12 5:00 - 6:00 pm
All KMDC ballet students ages 5+ are eligible to participate in the workshop and performances. Everyone who auditions is assigned one or more roles. Please see the Workshop brochure for more information or call us.
Young Ballerina Workshop
TheKMDC Young Ballerina Workshop is for dancers ages 5, 6 and 7 who would like to be introduced to the Nutcracker Ballet. See the YBW link for details.
The cast of the Nutcracker Ballet is comprised entirely of KMDC students ranging in age from 5 to 18. There are over 25 dances in the production! Older students are cast based on level and past experience. Dancers are choreographed by KMDC staff and are performed either on pointe or flat depending on the level of students in the dance. Performances are held at the beautiful Sorenson Center for the Performing Arts at Babson College.
